Free Burma Rangers

I am Shannon Allison, a dentist from Louisiana. I am a member of the Free Burma Rangers. Our mission is to give help, hope, and love to oppressed people all over the world.  This is our way of showing them the true God. Over the past twenty years, we have had missions in the following areas.

Burma

The world’s longest-running civil war, now over 60 years old. We minister the Hill Tribes who are being systematically eradicated. We give them a voice in the world, that otherwise; they would have none.

Sudan

Is a Muslim country which is attempting to eradicate the Nuba Mountain people. They are a small isolated group in Sudan with all outside assistance cut off.

Kurdistan

We ministered to the Kurds, Iraqis, and Yazidis as they fought ISIS. We gave them humanitarian aid on the front lines, again to show them the love of the true God.

Syria

in February of this year we were on the front lines as the last ISIS town of Baghouz fell. We treated the Syrian Democratic Forces and also the surrendering ISIS fighters and families. Again, providing medical, dental aid to the forces fighting ISIS and food, blankets and tents to the ISIS families as they surrendered. In this area of the world love is a very rare commodity and to give it freely to all is being the hands and feet of God.
