This week our blog post is a little different. Instead of sharing one of our God moments, we wanted to spotlight an amazing charity called CourtStrong. Read a message from the organization below, and come see us at their awesome Share The Love Art Festival on August, 29th.
About CourtStrong Inc.
CourtStrong is a local nonprofit out of Elberfeld, IN. This nonprofit was founded by Shon Nelson, II. His late wife passed away in February of 2017. Courtney Nelson was a strong young lady. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. When they found out she was sick, the community came together and raised money for the Nelson family. Enough funds were raised for Shon and Courtney to take their two young boys to Disney World to make lasting memories. After Courtney passed away, Shon decided to pay forward the generosity the community gave him. He founded CourtStrong, Inc honoring his late wife Courtney. The funds raised by this local nonprofit go to young families diagnosed with cancer. This will give them a chance to make lasting memories or fulfill bucket list items.
Share the Love Art Festival & Golf Outing
CourtStrong Inc. has a golf outing every October. This is our big fundraiser of the year, but since not everyone is a golfer, I thought a different event would bring out the crafty art people. Helping spread the word about our mission. We hope you can join us on August 24, 2019, at Angel Mounds 9 AM to 5 PM. We will have more info about our events. Jesus is Key started with a desire to design an inspirational line of jewelry that would bypass the major jewelry stores and be affordable to anyone who wishes to share their faith. It is all about the message it carries and supporting local shops.
