Nothing is perfect, and everything is perfect.

I absolutely love this saying.  Its meaning holds so true for all of us.  We may not always be perfect in our own eyes, or in the eyes of others, but God made us perfectly made in his image!

It never ceases to amaze me, how you can be in a crowd of thousands of people, and not one person looks alike.  Not only do we all look different, but we all act differently.  How creative our maker must be. Just think, there is not one tree, flower, cloud, or animal that is identical to another. Not even a single stone exactly has an exact match. The list goes on and on.

Find the beauty in all our differences and surroundings, can be quite a challenge thing to remember. Sometimes, it is so hard to step out of our comfort zone and appreciate those who are from a differed culture, background, or belief system. It is also so hard to be present to what it is we are doing at each and every moment of the day.  Instead, if you are like me, you are always planning your next step.  Then, we totally miss the steps we are taking at that moment.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we all could learn to love our own flaws, as well as the flaws of others?  Maybe they are not flaws after all. Maybe it was just another part of God’s creativity!

I have a challenge for you. Next time take a walk in nature or a crowded area, take a look around and try to appreciate all HE has created. I bet you’ll say, “WOW, our creator was a true artist!”
