LET GO AND LET GOD.

This is so much harder than it sounds.  Don’t you think it is?  I have to constantly remind myself of these little words of wisdom, so many times, daily, weekly and even hourly.  Are you like this also?  HE says to trust him every day and in every way.  HE reminds us “I’VE GOT THIS” yet we keep thinking we are somehow in control.   I think the older I get, the more I realize there is not much, I am in control of.  Yet I continue to take on some of my everyday battles on all by myself.   Is this you too? 

  I remind myself to “LET GO AND LET GOD” and for a short while, I am okay with HIS answers, and HIS timing.   Then, here I go again!  Worrying about what has happened, or what has not happened, or my mind starts to play tricks on me and I then come up with some doozies as to what could possibly happenI don’t think I am alone in this?

ARE WOMEN WIRED THIS WAY?

  I wonder sometimes is this the way most women are wired?  Most Women are always in protection mode “Mommy mode.”   Is that because most women have birthed children, or have been a caregiver in some way, shape, or form.  Is it instinct to protect our children etc.?  After all we brought them into this world, or if we are their caregivers, isn’t it our job to keep them safe also, along with the rest of this crazy world.  Does that then carry over to every other aspect of our lives?  I don’t know?  I am just thinking out loud.  Why do we have such a hard time laying our heads down on our pillows at night and leaving it all up to GOD.

A GREAT DEAL OF FAITH

  I know this takes a great deal of faith, to be completely assured that we DO NOT have to fix everything.  It’s all going to be okay.  GOD always has his protective hand in our lives, and the lives of everyone we love, and always will, if we just ask HIM.  Being perfectly content in what is all a part of HIS greater plan can be quite challenging.  HIS plan may not always be our idea of what HIS plan should be, and most definitely not our idea of what HIS timing should be. But, we have to learn how to ‘LET GO AND LET GOD.”
