The Jeep Wave

  I am a Hairdresser by trade.  One of my customers came in a while back and said “You are never going to guess what my husband and I did?”  I responded right away “What! Did you buy a jeep?” She looked at me very puzzled and said “How in the world did you guess that?”  “I said, that’s what all old people do for fun”

OUR TOY

  Quite a while back our son owned a jeep.  He was planning to move to New York, where he would not need a vehicle.  I had always wanted a jeep when I was younger. With a lot of convincing, my husband and I decided it to buy it from him.  My husband was not too thrilled with this idea. WE DID NOT NEED A JEEP. Let’s just say 11 years later, my husband is absolutely hooked.  He pouts if he doesn’t have time to get his jeep rides in on the weekends. After all the hard work is done, it is sure nice to treat yourself and take a little cruise in the jeep. I have to say it is a bit therapeutic.  

JEEP WAVE

  So if you ever feel as if you have no friends, just buy a jeep. I took us a while to figure out why all these people we didn’t know were waving at us. All Jeepers have a special wave.  You can’t get too excited about it that is not cool. It has to be a calm, cool and collected. It took us a while to get our wave down.  We were just so excited to have all these new friends, we have never met. We are now officially apart of the jeep group.

LIFE CAN BE SO SHORT

  All that being said time passes.  People come and go. Life flies by.  It is so hard to just take a little bit of time out to regroup, relax and “LET GO AND LET GOD.”  I have to remind myself of this daily. There are so many things that are completely out of our control.  We have to learn to just trust that God’s got this and just go ahead and take that jeep ride
