Listen Closely to Everyon

THE WORD CLOSELY

I thought about this particular saying. The word that stuck out for me first
was the word “CLOSELY.” I am so guilty of this… Listening, but not exactly
hearing all that they are saying. My mind seems to wonder on many other
things, as people are talking. I am a bit ADD. I only tend to get bits and
pieces of their conversation. Then I am stuck trying to piece it all together.
Which is not always a good thing. It can be so hard to stay right at that
moment. It is so easy to start planning your next move in your head, as
they are talking.
Have you ever felt as if someone you were talking to0 seemed to be 100
miles away? It doesn’t feel too good. We may be really passionate about
what we are saying, but they sure don’t seem to be too interested.

THE WORD EVERYONE

The second word that got my attention was “EVERYONE.”
It is so easy to pick and choose who we decide to give our full attention to.
Either we don’t have much interest in the topic they are on, or we have a
personality conflict, maybe we think they are just plain boring, or maybe we
are not in agreement. There can be so many reasons we may single
someone out.

GOD MADE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US DIFFERENT FOR A REASON

It is going to be my mission to stay focused on whoever is speaking. Give them the respect they deserve. Real in my thoughts at the moment, and give them my undivided attention, and realize we all have something to bring to the table. What would this world be like if we all had a goal to listen, instead of
always battling to be heard.?
