Notice All the Prayers in Your Life That Have Been Answered…

My name is Mindy; I am the sister of Shari Kempf, the founder of Jesus is Key. I am blessed to be a part of her mission to share Jesus with those around us.  At first, when Shari asked me to share my thoughts on the new JiK blog, I warned her, “I’m not pretty with words.” After a lot of thought and prayer, I realized that I do love sharing my faith, so I’m glad to give it a try.

Noticing the Answered Prayers

Today’s topic is noticing all the prayers in your life that have been answered. My first thought is that realizing our blessing can be hard. Remembering we all belong to the family of God, and have a Heavenly Father is even harder. When God answers our prayers, we don’t always remember praying for that person or outcome. Often, we go on with our busy days and forget to take notice of the cause and effect. We may think, “Well, that worked out. Maybe, I’ll try asking for more?”  Even though our Father has heard our pleas and chooses to show love, His blessings are often largely unnoticed. Giving Him the praise, honor, and gratitude for prayers answered and unanswered, is hard to remember.  We must remember HE is with us every day, and able to answer our many prayers.

Today, we pray that your prayers are for God’s guidance, wisdom, grace, mercy, and most of all, thanks.
